Village Walk

The Parish Council has created the Chesham Bois Village Walk leaflet, which gives instructions for a circular walk of 2.5 miles taking in some of the key landmarks and varied views of the Parish.  The leaflet includes information about history of the parish, the notable people who have lived here, and the varied wildlife that can be found.  The route is on pavements and woodland paths which can be muddy at times.  There are two easy climbs and one steep set of steps to descend, with an optional route to avoid the steps also described.

Hard copies of the Village Walk leaflet are available at the Parish Council office, Amersham Museum, Amersham Library or through Chesham Walkers are Welcome at Chesham Town Council.  A copy has been delivered to all households in Chesham Bois. The Chesham Bois Village Walk can be downloaded in pdf format.

This Village Walk was launched on May 18th 2019, as part of the Chiltern Walking Festival, when Councillors were joined by over 40 people to walk the route.  The Parish Council is grateful for the contributions of Chesham Walkers are Welcome and Amersham Museum to preparing this leaflet.
