The joint Community Safety Team, Thames Valley Police and Bucks County Council are hosting a Chiltern District Virtual Community Forum on  Thursday 29th March, 7-9pm.

The public can log on via this link  http://thamesvp.coverpage.coveritlive.com/ and ask questions/raise any concerns relating to policing priorities or community safety to the panel.

There was a good turnout for last week’s Common & Woodland consultation, despite the bitterly cold weather. Councillor Clive Thomas outlined the long-term Management Plan and took questions from local residents. Residents were given copies of the plan and maps detailing the areas requiring the various levels of work were displayed for everyone to examine. 20180228_193613If you could not make the consultation and are interested to know what work we will be doing to our woodlands, please see a summary and a copy of the plan on the Common and Woodlands page.

Given the current weather conditions we have decided to reschedule our Great British Spring Clean due to take place this Saturday.  It will now take place on Saturday 17th March, timings are the same.

Keep Britain Tidy have agreed that rescheduled events can take place up until 25th March so the Certificates will still have the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ logo on.’
