Each year the Parish Council complete an Annual Governance & Accountability Return which is reviewed by an external auditor.   Any interested person has a right to inspect and make copies of the accounting records and electors have the opportunity to question the external auditors.

This meeting is an opportunity for all electors of the Parish of Chesham Bois to ask questions of the Council and raise any issues relating to the Parish.

There will be a report from the Chairman on the activities of the Parish Council during the past year followed by a talk by local historian, Alison Bailey on “Local Suffragettes’.

Refreshments will be served after the presentations.

The joint Community Safety Team, Thames Valley Police and Bucks County Council are hosting a Chiltern District Virtual Community Forum on  Thursday 29^th March, 7-9pm.

Transport for Bucks will be carrying out resurfacing work on Bois Lane, between Woodside Avenue and the Railway Bridge.  This part of the road will be closed  from 9th April until 13th July 2018.  

There was a good turnout for last week’s Common & Woodland consultation, despite the bitterly cold weather. Councillor Clive Thomas outlined the long-term Management Plan and took questions from local residents. Residents were given copies of the plan and maps detailing the areas requiring the various levels of work were displayed for everyone to examine.
