Remembrance Parade & Service 12th Nov 2017

The Parade will begin at St Leonards Church at 11.15am and will walk along Bois Lane, reaching the War Memorial at approximately 11.45am for a Remembrance Service.

Jacobs Ladder

The Chiltern Society Volunteers have recently completed much needed improvement and repair works to Jacobs Ladder. These much used steps have been used for many years. Continued maintenance will ensure that they can be used for years to come. Tree works on the common, March 2024

Following advice from the arboriculturist engaged by the Parish Council to conduct regular inspection of trees, two mature trees on the War Memorial ‘triangle,’ bordered by Bois Lane, Glebe Way and North Road, will unfortunately have to be felled in March 2024 because they have been reported to be affected by ash dieback disease.
